I just wanted to put something together about all the events I’m taking part in this summer. Also, please read to the end.
Buddhists at Juneteenth KC June 17th, 2023. Noon-10pm. The Rime Center is going to have a booth at the Juneteenth Festival at 18th and Vine in the Jazz District in Kansas City, Missouri. I’ll be there. Come see me and let’s celebrate this important day.
Basics of Buddhism. 8 sessions beginning on Wednesday, June 21, 2023
Time: 7:45 – 9:00 pm. I’m co-teaching this class. Participants will meet either in-person or online Wednesdays at 7:45 pm to discuss the week’s topic. There will be ample opportunity for questions and discussion about the practice that will include actions that can be applied to daily life/practice. Register Online

Daniel Scharpenburg (Gegan Kelsang Dakpa) has had a committed meditation practice for 20 years.
